In the original anime it looked like Dai died from Gigabreak. I liked it more.

I think Baran hates humans maybe because I think seeing in the first episode the humans in the village where he was killed his Wife. I think he is burning with revenge.

I mean even I would go on an everlasting rampage if someone took someone whom I love the most.
